Important Factors

A few things to consider before making a purchase

Stability

Stability is a relative term used to measure how much a desk wobbles when it is at the lowest setting, the highest and anywhere in between.

One of the most frustrating things is to try to work on an uneven or unstable work surface, which is why we test all of the products we choose, we can't expect you to buy it if we wouldn't use it ourselves!

Even still, heavier frames have increased stability, so if that is a major factor, we would recommend looking at our Dual or Triple Motor options

Height Range

Having the correct height is very important to make sure your desk is used as efficiently as possible. If you aren't sure what height might be right for you, check out our guide.

Your desk should be right for you in both fully seated and standing positions and we do our best to offer quality products that cover a wide range of heights.

We recommend focusing on the minimum height ranges for shorter people to ensure correct seating height and maximum height ranges for taller people for correct posture while standing.

Weight Capacity

Weight capacity is a simple metric to show how much you can place on your desk top before it will start struggling to adjust in height.

We highly advise not to go above the recommended limits as it may damage the motor.

Noise

While the standard practice for standing desks is to have the noise level be under 60 dB, all of our desks are under 42 dB during operation.
